Functieomschrijving : Commercial Business Manager ICT - Suriname

As Commercial Business Manager ICT you have a broad job responsibility and your aim is to set up and build long term relationships with Customers. The Commercial Business Manager knows how to look after customer relationships and develop them further. In this position you are primarily responsible for acquisition of new business (clients), and for relationship management and satisfaction of existing customers. You play a vital role between the customer and the internal organization. In this role you will analyze customer wishes and translate these (together with our consultants) to creative solutions. Besides the commercial aspect you will also have the responsibility of Field Manager. In this role you are responsible for the wellbeing of the consultants in the group assigned to you. This is a multifaceted position, drawing on both your ‘people manager’ skills and your commercial talent.

The Role:
• Customer and prospect relationship management
• Building the customer base
• Thinking about / interest in strategic choices of the organization
• Point of contact for a number of consultants
• Assess performance of consultants
• Drawing up training plans for/with consultants

Functiecriteria: Commercial Business Manager ICT - Suriname

• Intellectual and operating level bachelor or higher
• Excellent communicative skills
• Empathic ability
• Knowledge of Oracle/Java technologies
• Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of the Surinam market
• Knowledge of the Surinam culture is an advantage
• Enterprising
• Inquisitive
• Independent
• Five years demonstrable IT experience, one or two of which commercial
• 'People' person
As Account Manager you have a demonstrable track record in instigating new relations and to expand existing ones based on consultative selling in ICT.
