Job description
As a Senior Controller Basel II/III you are responsible for ensuring the validation of the monthly Basel reporting. In order to achieve this, you manage the monthly reporting process of Basel data and reconciliations. Where appropriate, you interpret and resolve the reasons for movements.

• You coordinate and support 25 international entities to deliver their Basel data and reconciliations with high quality and on time. To resolve differences, you communicate with entities to encourage them to solve the issues that arise.
• You investigate and analyse transactions where local entities require additional expertise.
• In case of major unsolved items you make sure (higher) management gets involved.
• On a monthly basis you perform detailed SOX 404 controls.
• The person we are looking for will be naturally curious and takes great pride in delivering high quality output to our management and internal customers

Requirements Senior Controller Basel

• Dutch is usually spoken within the Basel Reporting Team but allowances will be made for someone learning the language.
• Graduate in Finance, Economics or Accounting (MA/BA)
• At least 7 years of working experience as a controller
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience within wholesale banking
• Knowledge of and experience with Basel II
• Knowledge of and experience with management and financial reporting practices
• IT affinity and experience with complex IT migration projects
