Responsibilities - QA Specialist Engineer - freelance/zzp

What are you going to do?

• Define and Drive Testing Strategy: Take the lead in creating and implementing a clear testing strategy for the migration project. Help define test cases, determine execution plans, and guide teams to adopt a more structured approach to quality;
• Coach and Guide Engineering Teams: Act as a quality advocate, providing hands-on guidance to help teams improve their testing practices. Help them understand critical user flows, identify risks, and build a culture where quality is a shared responsibility. Note: This role is focused on strategy and coaching, not performing manual testing;
• Ensure Quality During a Major Migration: Your primary focus will be on a six-month project to migrate to a new CRM and other backend services. You will help ensure each phase of the customer migration is tested thoroughly and effectively;
• Foster a Cultural Shift: Help teams move towards a "shift-left" approach to quality. Be a key voice in ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure quality is always part of the conversation.

What you bring?

• Mid to Senior-level QA experience with a proven ability to create, implement, and get buy-in for testing strategies;
• Experience working in a medium-to-large scale-up or product-focused company. You should be comfortable with a flexible environmen; that is more structured than a startup but less rigid than a large corporation;
• Strong preference for experience with in-house product development;
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills. You must be able to guide teams and help them grow;
• Experience with mobile application testing is a big plus;
• While not the focus, experience with test automation frameworks and concepts is beneficial.

The Offer - QA Specialist Engineer - freelance/zzp

Nice freelance/zzp assignment in Amsterdam for a sustainable energy company for 32 to 40 hours per week for a maximum of €90 per hour.
