As they continue to scale, they are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and evolve their financial strategy while staying closely connected to day-to-day operations. 

Responsibilities: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

In this role, you will oversee all financial operations at the Amsterdam headquarters, with additional oversight responsibilities for three smaller international offices. You will lead a team of four finance professionals and act as a strategic partner to the executive team, ensuring operational excellence while shaping long-term financial direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the group;
• Oversee accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions;
• Work closely with trading and operational teams to align financial controls with business activities;
• Support the ongoing development of financial infrastructure and tools;
• Provide hands-on leadership to a small, high-performing finance team;
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions;
• Contribute to broader business strategy as a member of the senior leadership team.

Who You Are

• Qualified RA (or equivalent) with strong accounting fundamentals;
• Affinity with international tax and regulatory matters;
• 10+ years of experience in finance, preferably in a trading, fintech, or high-performance environment;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on culture—preferably with non-corporate, entrepreneurial experience;
• Able to navigate both strategic thinking and operational execution;
• With a background in ERP, automation tools and NetSuite;
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
