Responsibilities Interim Electrical Engineering Lead

As an Electrical & Sustainability Engineering professional, you contribute to Capex investment projects across the world. The Global Lead E&S is responsible for power- and electrical design of our production equipment. You ensure a safe, secure and integrated design and delivery. In the projects you are working in cross-functional project teams consisting of brewing, packaging, utilities, civil engineers and project managers. You are essential in a successful project execution by contributing during construction, start-up and operation of new, revamped and extended equipment in our breweries.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute site surveys and contribute to Masterplans;
  • Discuss scope and challenge investments with brewery management and project managers;
  • Participate in project engineering processes and work according the companies Capex Excellence principles;
  • Prepare project plans, inquiry and order specifications;
  • Guide, monitor and check suppliers and monitor schedules and budgets;
  • Operate in multi-disciplinary teams: project teams, end users and suppliers;
  • Contribute to internal projects for standardization, innovation, gate-keeping and quality assurance;
  • Support and advice with strategic decisions in respect to power generation and distribution technology;
  • Stay up to date on knowledge in the industry and maintain technical relationships with key suppliers.

Requirements Interim Electrical Engineering Lead

In order to succeed in the role, we ask you to have:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree;
  • 4-8 years relevant working experience;
  • Independent Electrical Engineer with an experience in Capex projects;
  • Proven track record of Electrical design and implementation in food & beverage industry;
  • Knowledge of sustainable solutions, electrification transition and NetZero in manufacturing;
  • Understanding of the configuration of a brewery;
  • Knowledge of Power generation and distribution (MV/LV);
  • Knowledge of renewable energy generation (solar, wind, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Diesel generator sets and Power quality solutions;
  • Understanding of operational aspects of electrical installations (e.g. maintenance);
  • Understanding of operations controlled by PLC-SCADA and bus systems
  • Some understanding of digital developments in manufacturing industry (Data collection and analysis, reporting, IoT, AI, PCD cybersecurity);
  • Knowledge of electrical legislation, norms and regulations
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages (Dutch, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, …) will be considered as an advantage.

The offer Interim Electrical Engineering Lead

This is a temporary assignment for at 1 year for 32-40 hours per week. We can offer an hourly rate around €95 - €105 all in (including travel costs).
