As Azure Data Engineer, you are responsible for delivering premium-grade data engineering components which will enable data engineers to build robust pipelines with speed and agility. You are a hard working, motivated and driven Azure Engineer who will take the engineering/-management team to the next level. You are someone who is driven by innovation and enjoy exploring new solutions. Your responsibilities include:
- Closely collaborating with the D&A Domain Architect and Solution Architects
- Contribute to the design and creation of Azure D&A Platform
- Provide operational support on/of the platform
- Signing data pipelines and frameworks
- Review, test and help ensure qualities of those developed by your team mates
- Guide and support the team of engineers
For the Azure Data Engineer position we are looking for:
- Proven experience with Azure (Data Platform) services and Azure Databricks (Delta Lake)
- Good understanding of CI/CD principles and implementation, preferably using Azure DevOps
- Extensive experience with Python, PySpark, SQL and Linux scripting
- Experience in the design and development of data engineering concepts
