Buyer Ecommerce - Temporary

For an international retail organization in Amsterdam I am looking for a Buyer Ecommerce, within the Ecommerce team.
This team is responsible for managing the European own and operated sites across all European markets, shipping currently to 25 countries. The team operates all necessary functions to manage the Ecom business end-to-end. The ecommerce business is growing at a fast pace and has very ambitious growth targets for the coming years.

This is a temporary role starting ASAP till 30/04/2022, possibility of extension.

Responsibilities Buyer Ecommerce

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Updating and maintaining weekly and seasonal reports;
  • Creating sales presentations for internal meetings with Retail and Product Merchandising;
  • Manage the Ecommerce buy process including creation of seasonal presentations and oversee order entry in SAP, and STO creation
  • Liaising with different internal and external stakeholders on requests;
  • Monitoring product pages and ensure accuracy with regard to how and if all products are displayed online;
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses and activities related to weekly and seasonal milestones.
  • Negotiate deliveries to ensure consistent and early flow of goods/merchandise to maximize sales and meet plan
  • Booking in the release of deliveries, keeping track of critical path and alerting the team to any delivery issues.
  • Working closely with relevant teams to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time.
  • Assisting on buying season related activities: set up sales reports, create decks/reports for hindsight meeting, deliver data for ad hoc planning requests;
  • Uploading orders for seasonal buys;
  • Uploading replenishment orders;
  • Assisting on the go to market process for seasonal buys from start to finish;
  • Tracking seasonal orders and chasing deliveries ;
  • Assisting on photo studio related activities – sample arrangements, tracking image delivery and following up with main contacts on a seasonal basis.

Requirements Buyer Ecommerce

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a Buying Department preferably within an e-commerce fashion brand;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management or related field;
  • Minimum of 4 years working experience;
  • Advanced system skills (Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Good analytical skills and great attention to detail;
  • Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize;
  • Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to work independently, while supporting the team on cross-functional activities;
  • Fluent in English.
