Short Description Global Ingredient Specifications Manager
Global Specification Manager will strengthen the Global Nutritional Ingredients Specifications team in Utrecht. The BU Early Life Nutrition puts priority and very strong commitment to ensure stringent quality standards & regulatory compliance, having very sensitive consumer as the core of our business. The Division ensures strategic and sustainable ingredients and packaging material management; take accountability for raws & packs specifications compliance globally for the ELN division; enhance efficiency in Specification management by implementing new ways of working across Strategic supplier development, Quality, R&D and Supply points. The new Specification Management organization will enhance expertise and seniority within the Specification teams, to drive the process to specifications with high quality standard in a cross-functional environment.
As a Global Specifications Manager, you’ll have major impact in the implementation of the Vitamin, Minerals and Premix food safety, regulatory compliance and standardization strategies. You’ll be part of a pioneering team for Nutritional Ingredient specifications managers within the new ELN Global Specification Management. In this role, you’ll be convincing and engaging at different levels of Stakeholders’ as being responsible for managing part of the Vitamin, Minerals and Premix specification portfolio.
Job Criteria Global Ingredient Specifications Manager
A master’s degree in food science and technology or related field.
At least 3 years of experience building a strong know-how on nutritional ingredients in food industry with a strong focus on quality and food safety.
Excellent team working and communication skills in a non-hierarchical, cross functional and highly international environment.
Ability to work efficiently and be flexible in a changing and complex environment.
Pragmatism and agility: operational focus, booster, operational improvements.
