We are looking for a Payroll Officer for an international footwear brand. Job profile Payroll Officer (International)
As a Payroll Officer you are responsible for:
Monthly Payroll Process Control:
Point of contact for both internal and external payroll related items;
Payroll data input and review for several retail entities;
Kronos timecards check and time punch;
Monthly payroll payment overview, including advance payments and payroll taxes;
Reconciling various payroll accounts, uploading salary entries and monitoring the payroll declarations to various tax authorities.
Payroll account reconciliations;
Ensure key controls are respected and the SOX requirements are met.
Supporting the auditors on payroll related topics in the Group and Local Financial Statements;
Preparation of audit documentation, payroll account analysis to support timely completion of audits.
Identify process improvements to existing processes and advise the manager on opportunities to gain higher efficiency, effectiveness and ensure a higher level of (local) compliance.
Requirements Payroll Officer (International)
You bring with you:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Business Administration;
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a similiar role;
A good command of English and Dutch;
Knowledge of accounting principles;
Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP);
Experience with EMEA payroll process;
Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft Excel;
Establishes priorities, plans, and organizes well, solution-oriented;
Strong communication skills; ability to effectively interact with all types of individuals, both internally and externally.
