Software Engineer AV/IT (Crestron)

Looking for a Software Engineer AV/IT (Crestron) for an innovative international company in Amsterdam.

Are you a rock-star Software Engineer with a lot of knowledge of technology like AV, Lighting, Security and IoT? And would you like to put those skills to use in designing and building custom solutions for high end customers? Then read on!

As Software Engineer AV/IT (Crestron) you will be part of team of technical experts that designs, builds and commissions custom solutions for yachts and other (passenger)ships. Your main focus will be on the end-to-end technical realisation of these projects; from translating the requirements into the most optimal design to the commissioning, documentation and service/support.

There is a lot more that you can have among your responsibilities is you're up for it, such as:

• Preparation of projects: create budgets and timelines;
• Reporting on project progress to relevant parties;
• Stakeholder management (client and vendor communication);
• Monitoring of and reporting on new tech and trends.

The Software Engineer AV/IT we are looking for should really be somewhat geeky, and a lover of gadgets and innovation. Next to that you have:

• BSc level of working and thinking;
• Relevant experience working as a software engineer in the AV/IT domain;
• Crestron certification (MCP) or willingness to get certified;
• Experience with SIMPL, VT-Pro-e and C# is a big plus;
• Full working proficiency in English, Dutch is a big plus.
• A proactive, creative and analytical mindset.
