
Software Tester - Temporary
For our client, a big telecom company in Rotterdam, we are seeking a skilled software tester with a background in the telecom sector to join a dynamic team. This is a temporary assignment from May 2025 until end of October 2025.

Responsibilities Software Tester - Temporary
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts to ensure quality assurance;
- Conduct functional testing, with a focus on API testing;
- Design and develop automated testing processes;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance regression testing efforts;
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and establish effective test strategies;
- Analyze test outcomes and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders;
- Identify and troubleshoot issues to maintain high software quality standards;
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity in testing processes.
Requirements Software Tester - Temporary
- 5+ years of experience in software testing;
- Mobile core experience preferred;
- Proficient in Windows scripting and automation tools;
- Strong QA and functional testing background;
- Expertise in Python, shell scripting, Jenkins, and CI/CD for automation testing;
- Manual testing certification (e.g., ISQBT) preferred;
- Familiar with SOAPUI, POSTMAN, databases, Groovy, and SQL;
- AWS Certified (minimum Cloud Practitioner);
- Knowledge of telecom principles, mobile network call flows, 3GPP standards;
- Familiarity with Ericsson's mobile core and mobile provisioning preferred;
- Experience with virtual and containerized network functions.
The Offer Software Tester - Temporary
A great full-time assignment of 40 hours in Rotterdam, from May 2025 to end of October 2025. Hybrid work is possible. The hourly rate for a ZZP/Freelancer will be around 75-85 EUR, depending on your experience and seniority. There is also the possiblity of having a flex contract with us, in which case the salary range will be 6000-7000 EUR gross per month.
