Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical roadmap within your domain.
- Influence high-level architectural decisions and ensure alignment with broader engineering goals.
- Initiate and drive improvements in scalability, performance, and developer experience.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, quality, and innovation across teams.
- Identify technical gaps and propose solutions to enhance frontend capabilities.
- Advocate for engineering best practices including accessibility, testing, and observability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Track and improve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to maintain high standards of system reliability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Requirements - Frontend Staff Software Engineer
- Experience as a Staff Software Engineer (or related role), ideally with 4+ years in a senior technical leadership role.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects that span teams or domains.
- Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles for building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Proficiency in HTML, SCSS, and a strong commitment to accessibility and design standards.
- Experience with API integration (REST, GraphQL) and building intuitive data flows.
- Skilled in frontend testing tools and methodologies (Playwright, Cypress, Jest, etc.).
- Adept at leveraging product analytics to generate actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in agile, high-growth environments with strong collaboration skills.
- Passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing, and building a thriving engineering culture.
