Product UX Designer - Temporary

A dynamic opportunity awaits for a talented Product Designer skilled in crafting design systems for B2C platforms. In this role, you'll be integral in shaping the store of the future by designing scalable, accessible, and reusable components that will support the migration to a new innovative platform architecture. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with product teams and engineers to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience across desktop, mobile, and app interfaces. Strong proficiency in Figma and a solid understanding of WCAG guidelines are essential.

This is a temporary role from June 2025 until mid December 2025.

Responbilities Product UX Designer - Temporary

  • Develop and maintain scalable, multi-platform components and design patterns in Figma, in alignment with the principles of the Universe design system;
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure that design implementations are consistent, correct, and accessible;
  • Actively coordinate with design system users (including product designers and engineers) to gather needs, prioritize solutions, and provide guidance on proper usage;
  • Ensure the quality, structure, and documentation of components, including support for Figma libraries, variables, auto layout, and variants;
  • Adhere to WCAG guidelines and contribute to accessible design practices;
  • Gather feedback from product teams to ensure that components and patterns meet their needs effectively;
  • Support the migration of product teams to the new platform architecture, Simple Shop;
  • Promote a collaborative and innovative atmosphere within the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements Product UX Designer - Temporary

  • 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design;
  • Strong skills in developing and maintaining scalable, multi-platform components and design patterns in Figma;
  • Ability to design scalable, accessible, and reusable components and design patterns;
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and commitment to contributing to accessible design;
  • Understanding of design systems, specifically the Universe design system;
  • Ability to work closely with engineers to ensure implementations are consistent, correct, and accessible;
  • Strong communication skills to advise users on proper use of design components and patterns.

The Offer Product UX Designer - Temporary

This temporary position will start immediately and will last for roughly 6 months and will have a gross monthly salary in the range of €6000- €7000, excuding holiday. Unfortunately we are unable to consider freelance professionals for this role.
