Responsibilities : Product Technologist

• Support the development and validation of vitamin and micronutrient process loss models for liquid FSMP products;
• Collect and coordinate production samples (e.g., before and after heat treatment) to support analytical verification;
• Organize, clean, and analyze large datasets from CoAs, production records, and laboratory results;
• Assist in the development of statistical models that predict process losses using tools such as Python, R, or Excel with VBA;
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to align modeling assumptions with operational realities;
• Contribute to root cause analysis of out-of-specification results by preparing data views and identifying variation pattern.

Requirements : Product Technologist

• A background in food technology, chemical engineering, data science, or a related field and approx. 2 years of experience in R&I or Product Development;
• Scientific Mindset (to understand Specialised Nutrition);
• Proactive in work and communication;
• Affinity with FSMP, nutrition, or the food industry is essential.
• Familiarity with standard programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage structured data.
• Hands-on, practical attitude with willingness to support sample logistics.
• Living near Utrecht;
• Fluent in English.

The Offer : Product Technologist

Through our agency, you will receive a 5-month temporary contract. 
There is a possibility that your contract will be renewed after these 5 months or that our client will make you an offer of a contract; however, we are not able to guarantee this.

• Salary will be around €5000 - €6400 gross a month based on a full-time position (40 hours a week) and is based on education and experience;
• 30 annual leave days;
• Travel expenses will be covered;
• Pension plan.
